# Original Proposal

This motion will update the [Tokenomic Budget Balancer](https://docs.phala.network/compute-providers/basic-info/budget-balancer) used by Phala & Khala Network. It includes two operations: (1) point the permission to the upgraded budget balancer, and (2) force transfer the gas fee from the old balancer's contract held account to the new one.

The Tokenomic Budget Balander was upgraded to follow the upstream upgrade. Due to Subsquid deprecating the old API, the Subscan API is now used for block information queries, and the maximum value of the budget has been limited.
